1. General
By booking a service with JLN Car Valeting, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a high-quality service for both parties.
2. Vehicle Damage, Claims & Liability
2.1 First Right to Repair
If a customer believes that JLN Car Valeting has caused damage to their vehicle, JLN must be given the first opportunity to repair the issue or arrange a repair with a trusted and reputable third-party.
If the customer does not allow JLN Car Valeting the first right to fix the alleged damage, JLN will not be responsible for any repair costs incurred by the customer elsewhere.
2.2 Evidence Requirements
JLN Car Valeting reserves the right to reject any claim of damage if:

No clear evidence is provided showing the damage did not exist before the service began.

The damage is consistent with pre-existing wear, defects, or deterioration.
2.3 Inspection Upon Completion
Customers are expected to inspect their vehicle immediately after the service is completed.
This is the customer’s opportunity to raise any concerns about missed areas or issues.

Only items included within the purchased package will be rectified.

Issues raised after the vehicle has left the site or after a reasonable amount of time may not be accepted.
3. Customer Responsibilities
3.1 Special Requests
Customers must inform the valeter at the beginning of the appointment if:

They have specific areas they would like extra attention paid to.

These requests are included as part of their chosen package – they will be completed at no extra cost.

If the request is not part of the package, a price adjustment may be discussed and agreed before any additional work is carried out.
3.2 Excess Soiling & Additional Charges
Special offers and discounts are only valid when there is no excess soiling, such as:

Heavy pet hair
-
Urine or faeces
-
Spilled paint
-
Excessive mud, mould, or contamination
If excess soiling is present:
-
Discounts and offers will be void.
-
Full standard pricing will apply.
-
Additional charges may be added where necessary (e.g., heavy pet hair removal due to increased time and labour).
3.3 Parking, Location & Access Requirements
Customers must ensure that a safe and suitable area is available to carry out the valet, including:

A parking space away from busy main roads.
-
Sufficient room to safely work around the vehicle.
If the valet is to take place in a pay-and-display car park, private workplace car park, yard, or any area requiring permission, the customer is responsible for ensuring:

Permission is obtained from the landlord, site owner, or relevant authority.
-
A valid parking permit is provided where required.
JLN Car Valeting may refuse to carry out the service if a safe and authorised location is not available.
4. Booking, Cancellation & Payments
4.1 Cancellations
If a customer cancels their booking within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment:

A cancellation fee may be charged, or
-
A 50% upfront payment may be required when re-booking.
4.2 Weather-Related Postponements
In cases of severe or extreme weather, JLN Car Valeting may need to postpone the appointment.
This is to protect:

The customer
-
Their vehicle
-
JLN Car Valeting staff and equipment
A rescheduled date will be arranged as soon as possible.
4.3 Estimated Times
All durations provided for services are estimates only.
Jobs may take more or less time depending on:

Vehicle size
-
Vehicle condition
-
Level of contamination
-
Weather
-
Access to equipment and working area
5. Insurance
JLN Car Valeting is fully insured, including public liability insurance.
Details of our insurance policy can be provided upon customer request.
6. Acceptance of Terms
By booking any service with JLN Car Valeting, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
